SAM HUNT
February 12, 2016

First time at a GRAMMY Foundation event. I really enjoyed the message the foundation put forward about keeping music in schools. It made me wish I payed more attention to that type of stuff in school. But what my friend and I really wanted to see was Sam Hunt. We counted down the minutes until he would step foot on stage. The event took place at Club Nokia above the GRAMMY Museum, which is a intimate venue and if you don't want to moshpit in the middle you can still see while chilling on the sides. There is also a second floor for optimal viewing. And parking wasn't too big of a hastle since this took place on a Thursday. We parked in a lot right across from the Grammy Museum. The crowd was mixed with Grammy Foundation members , award recipients, and country music fans. It was a bit humourous to see. When Sam finally did come out it felt just like a house party. His guitarist Tyrone was also amazing! That guy just brought up the team average. Sam sounded exactly like his nonstop radio hits and has a charming personality to boot. His stage presence was phenomenal and next time he better sing "Speakers" and "Make You Miss Me." I guess I just have to go to another one of his concerts ✌🏼️
