My second show at the Hollywood Palladium. For anyone who doesn't know the angel that is James Bay you need to. Nominated for 3 Grammys this upcoming year (in 2016), James Bay encompasses that acoustic rock and roll sound that has us listening to him any weather and any time of day. My personal favorites include "Need the Sun to Break", "When We Were on Fire", and "Incomplete." Honestly I love his whole album but to first timmers check out "Hold Back the River" (GRAMMY NOMINATED) and "Let it Go" which are super popular and showcase his slower side and his upbeat side.
Now back to the concert, I really loved this show. I know I say that a lot but it is true. This show was his biggest sold out show in the United States and you could tell how excited he was to see everyone. The crowd was very diverse in age but mostly all white and hipsters. His guitar skills are unbelievable. Basically it's like if Ed Sheeran and John Mayer had a baby it would be James Bay. His lyrics are one of his best features, and it was amazing to see that with every song he played everyone, EVERYONE, knew the words and their eyes would light up when it was their favorite song. The Hollywood Palladium was fantastic as always, wherever you are there is always a good view. Parking wasn't a hastle either which meant we could stay for the encore :) I will be seeing James Bay again whenever he decides to grace Los Angeles with his presence. I recomend his concert to anyone who loves good music and an even greater guy. ✌🏼️
