One of my all time favorite bands and one of the best concerts I've been too.
Gotta keep in mind that this is their debut album! This is only the beginning for this set of guys from Manchester, England. The opening acts Young Rising Sons and CRUISER were not what I expected to hear at a 1975 concert but in that way I liked it. Before the concert even begun the Palladium was filled with fog that created an intriguing, eerie, vibe that only made everyone more excited. Matty came on stage with a wine bottle and didn't disappoint. And yes you still can't really understand what he's singing unless you manually looked up the lyrics before hand to double check if he really said "bite your friend like chocolate." But that's not that big of a deal since everyone is in the same boat and humming along. What made it such a great night wasn't the fact that Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and Niall Horan all were rumoured to be at this show or when Matty took off his shirt, it was the fact that you were in a room full of people that loved this band and their music just as much as you do. It was like coming home to a really alternative blue haired pierced up family, but a family none the less. All I am going to say is go buy your ticket for when they go on tour next because it is going to be sold out and I guarantee it will be a experience of a lifetime. Unitl next time boys ✌🏼️
